We’ll Train You so you can receive your Certificate of Completion
in Dental Assisting in just 13-Weeks.
You’ll Gain Skills & Expertise Beyond What Typical Programs Offer
To be a Dental Assistant you need the right type of training. That is exactly what our school can provide you. Many years went into making our Dental Assisting curriculum the best program available. Since we are a registered school, students can earn a certificate of completion to show their future potential employer.
We have students from all over Maryland. One student, Lauri Whitney, said about the curriculum: “Taking my dental class through your school was a great experience for me. It provided me a program that gave me accurate and up to date information regarding dental assisting and various dental procedures. I felt that the training and lab time prepared me for working as a dental assistant in the real world. Your staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a successful dental assistant.” Graduates are finding good jobs that are leading to successful careers.
One of the benefits of our school is that students will learn in a classroom setting, and will get more than 50 hours of hands-on training in a local and modern dental office. Many of the students at the Dental Assistant School of Maryland Area are young and just getting started with a career in the health-care industry. Others are re-entering the workplace later in life or wish for a career change and are finding great opportunities. Classes start several times every year, so students can enroll anytime with a new session starting soon. Classes include elements in the classroom laboratory and hands-on in a practice. Students must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent to qualify to enroll.
This course introduces students to basic dental assisting, record keeping, OSHA regulations and requirements, lab duties and more. Students also are trained and certified in CPR by American Heart Association approved providers; and receive 2 Continuing Education Credits for OSHA/Infection Control. In addition, this course prepares students for DANB Dental Radiology Health & Safety Certification exam.
In today’s economy, people of all ages are looking for career options. Programs like this Dental Assistant School are a viable growth option. Other programs offer mostly lecture-based training with limited hands-on time, which leaves graduates unprepared for the job market. But with our accelerated program you’ll get hands-on training in absolutely all aspects of Dental Assisting. This kind of experience will put you ahead of your peers.
In other programs, instructors are limited in the amount of attention they can give to a class of 30 or more students but with our program you’ll get personal attention because our classes are limited in size. This means you’ll graduate with the confidence, the skills and the “know-how” to excel in your new career.
