We’ll Train You so you can receive your Certificate of Completion
in Dental Assisting in just 13-Weeks.
You’ll Gain Skills & Expertise Beyond What Typical Programs Offer

To be a Dental Assistant you need the right type of training. That is exactly what our school can provide you. Many years went into making our Dental Assisting curriculum the best program available. Since we are a registered school, students can earn a certificate of completion to show their future potential employer.

We have students from all over Maryland. One student, Lauri Whitney, said about the curriculum: “Taking my dental class through your school was a great experience for me. It provided me a program that gave me accurate and up to date information regarding dental assisting and various dental procedures. I felt that the training and lab time prepared me for working as a dental assistant in the real world. Your staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a successful dental assistant.” Graduates are finding good jobs that are leading to successful careers.

One of the benefits of our school is that students will learn in a classroom setting, and will get more than 50 hours of hands-on training in a local and modern dental office. Many of the students at the Dental Assistant School of Maryland Area are young and just getting started with a career in the health-care industry. Others are re-entering the workplace later in life or wish for a career change and are finding great opportunities. Classes start several times every year, so students can enroll anytime with a new session starting soon. Classes include elements in the classroom laboratory and hands-on in a practice. Students must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent to qualify to enroll.

This course introduces students to basic dental assisting, record keeping, OSHA regulations and requirements, lab duties and more. Students also are trained and certified in CPR by American Heart Association approved providers; and receive 2 Continuing Education Credits for OSHA/Infection Control. In addition, this course prepares students for DANB Dental Radiology Health & Safety Certification exam.

In today’s economy, people of all ages are looking for career options. Programs like this Dental Assistant School are a viable growth option. Other programs offer mostly lecture-based training with limited hands-on time, which leaves graduates unprepared for the job market. But with our accelerated program you’ll get hands-on training in absolutely all aspects of Dental Assisting. This kind of experience will put you ahead of your peers.

In other programs, instructors are limited in the amount of attention they can give to a class of 30 or more students but with our program you’ll get personal attention because our classes are limited in size. This means you’ll graduate with the confidence, the skills and the “know-how” to excel in your new career.

I am a strong believer in the Dental Assisting School of Maryland’s  curriculum and effectiveness. Take advantage of this opportunity and reserve a spot in our next Dental Assisting class… Email or call (301) 674-8969 today!

“Could a Career as a Dental Assistant Be Right for You?”

My name is Dr. Aaron Nicholas and I love dentistry!  I enjoy teaching and helping others as well.  After many years of being a dentist, I have encountered numerous people who want to join me in the dental field. “Dentistry is such a wonderful profession and I am glad to pass along knowledge and the passion for caring for others”.

At times there has been a shortage of qualified assistants in my dental practice.  I saw this need and opened the Dental Assistant School of Maryland, a 13-week dental assisting program with the State of Maryland. I put my passion and years of experience to work.  Now, in addition to my private practice, I operate the school in our modern dental facilities, with the entire course completed in a short 13-weeks. “Compared to other schools, the Dental Assistant School of Maryland students not only finish in less than half the time, but pay a mere fraction of tuition fees”.

There is a shortage of qualified dental assistants according to the U.S. Labor Statistics Dept.  This career is a great opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives and health.  Many are unfamiliar with this career option but according the Labor Statistics Bureau, Dental Assisting is the third fastest growing occupation that doesn’t require a college degree. Dental Assisting needs are expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through 2030.

This Presents a Tremendous Career Opportunity for You!
